Dormant stock loses value every month
IT components depreciate fast, and not at the same pace across families. A generation of server processors can lose most of its reuse value in a few quarters, while its metal value barely moves. Selling at the right time means selling while reuse still pays.
RECYNEW buys electronic component stock: end-of-line, unsold goods, returns, integrator surplus, spare-part stock from repair shops closing a range, inventory left over in data centres.
What we take
Processors
Per unit where reuse is possible — processor unit prices, Intel Xeon server CPUs — per kilo when the stock is old or mixed: processors per kilo, ceramic processors.
Memory
DDR3, DDR4, server memory: per unit or per kilo depending on condition and generation.
Storage
Hard drives, SATA SSDs, M.2 NVMe, SAS drives: drive and SSD price list. For stock coming out of a corporate fleet, see buyback with certified erasure.
Loose components
Chips, gold connectors, capacitors, contacts: priced by weight against our IT components price list.
Per unit or per kilo — we run both and you keep the better one
This is what separates a stock purchase from a waste collection. In a mixed stock, part of it carries reuse value — hence a unit price — and the rest carries material value, hence a price per kilo. We run both calculations and keep the more favourable one line by line, rather than applying one average price to everything.
In practice: send us your inventory — part numbers, quantities, condition — rather than photos. A spreadsheet is enough. We match it against our published price lists and return a line-by-line quote you can check yourself.
How it runs
- You send the inventory, or a description if you do not have one.
- Line-by-line quote within 48 working hours.
- Collection or shipment, freight quoted and stated before departure.
- Joint check on arrival: quantities and condition verified, discrepancies raised before payment.
- Payment once agreed.
Where your stock goes
Whatever can be reused goes to reuse; the rest to materials recovery. RECYNEW is a WEEELABEX-certified centre, and you receive the corresponding traceability documents.
Frequently asked questions
Will you buy part of a stock, or only all of it?
We can take only some of the lines. Tell us if you need everything gone at once: it changes the quote, since a complete lot is often worth more than a picked-over selection.
Does the equipment have to work?
No. Non-working equipment is priced on material value rather than reuse. Just tell us what has been tested and what has not — a quote based on an inaccurate declared condition is revised on arrival.
Do you buy new, boxed components?
Yes. New or unopened stock is priced for reuse, well above its weight value.
Is there a minimum volume?
No. We quote anything from a few dozen part numbers to a full warehouse, across Europe.
