You have electronic equipment to sell and you want to know how it works, what it is worth, and what you are committing to. Here are the answers, in the order the questions come up. Our price lists are public, so you can check our answers before contacting us.

Selling: how it works

How do I sell my e-waste to RECYNEW?

Send photos and the estimated weight of your lot via WhatsApp on +33 6 14 30 20 59, or by e-mail. You get a quote within 48 working hours. Once agreed, you ship it or we arrange collection, and you are paid after the lot is checked.

Do you buy from individuals or only from businesses?

Both. Individuals can sell from a few kilos; businesses also receive treatment and data-erasure certificates.

Is there a minimum quantity?

No. A single box is handled like a pallet: the same price list applies, only the collection arrangement differs.

What equipment do you buy?

Circuit boards, processors, memory modules, hard drives and SSDs, computers, laptops, servers, phones, power supplies, gold connectors. The detail per family is in our price lists.

Does the equipment have to work?

No. Reusable items are paid per unit, the rest by weight. Just tell us what has been tested and what has not: a quote based on an inaccurate declared condition is revised on arrival.

Pricing

How is the buyback price set?

By route: per unit for reuse, based on model and condition; per kilo for recycling, based on precious-metal content and the day's market price.

Are your prices public?

Yes. All our price lists are published and dated. You can check our offer before you even call.

Can I improve the price of my lot?

Yes. Removing batteries, metal frames and heatsinks improves the grade, and therefore the price per kilo. A lot already sorted by family is also quoted more precisely and faster.

Can the price change between the quote and delivery?

It can be revised if the lot received does not match the description, or if market prices moved in the meantime. In both cases the difference is raised before payment, with the weight per grade to back it up.

Shipping and collection

How do I send my lot?

Under 30 kg: by post to RECYNEW, 16 rue Henri Barbusse, 59178 Millonfosse, France. Above that: pallet or collection, depending on quantity and location. See our transport terms.

Who pays for transport?

Freight cost is quoted and stated before collection, never discovered afterwards. Depending on the volume and value of the lot, it is either covered by us or deducted from the quote — either way it is agreed in advance.

Do you collect outside France?

Yes, we arrange collections across Europe. Freight is quoted case by case according to volume and distance.

Payment

When and how am I paid?

After the lot is received and checked, usually within a few days, by secure bank transfer. You receive a detailed statement.

Data and compliance

Is my data erased?

Yes. All storage media are wiped or physically destroyed in line with the GDPR, with an erasure certificate on request. See business drive buyback with data erasure.

What compliance guarantees do you offer?

RECYNEW is a WEEELABEX-certified treatment centre (23-0125), holding waste transport (2024/CTD/148) and waste trading (2024/NCD/026) permits: your WEEE is fully traceable.

What happens to my equipment after the sale?

Whatever can be reused goes to reuse, and the rest goes to materials recovery. That second outlet is what lets us pay above smelter price on a mixed lot. See how we handle reuse and materials recovery.
